View Full Version : Creating an OG Crackberry group!

A few of us started passing around our Blackberry PIN's so we could chat, and then it occurred to DJHoot to create an OG group on Blackberry Messenger. So if you would like to get in on this awesome group let me or Hoot know. You need to update your Blackberry Messenger to the 5.0 version, which is free from the BlackBerry Appworld. Update your messenger, then send me your PIN or add me to your contacts and I will send you an invite to the group. Here's my PIN and hope to see you guys on the chat!

Dont know how to set that all up lol had my blackberry forever and dont know how to do that! any help would help

Hey no problem. First thing you need to do is click this link (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/appworld/?) and download Blackberry Appworld. Its a free application that lets you search for and download other apps for the blackberry. After that is downloaded and installed on your phone, go into it and do a search for Blackberry Messenger. You'll know which one to download, its the only one by RIM. Download and install that now. You then have the newest version of the Blackberry Messenger. When you get into the messenger, you want to add a contact. Type in my PIN and it will send me a request. I will then add you to the group after that. It's kinda time consuming, but its really cool. There are a few of us on there now.

i downloaded it and i searched but there isnt a messenger coming up as blackberry it has msn, yahoo, and so on. i looked and looked and nothing. :( o well guess im not to phone smart lol.

What model Blackberry do you have right now? And did you search messenger, or Blackberry Messenger?

i donrt know what model its a blackberry about a yr or two old. and i search blackberry messenger. :thumbs up:

I have the orignal blackberry messenger. and i have all the lastest updates. idk
