What is this thing and what does it do?

i read my manual last night and i dont see any reference to this part (circled in red below). can someone tell me what it is, what it does, and how it should be set?

Basically, a hole is drilled there during manufacturing the body of the marker. It's an air passage/internal plumbing to get air from the FRM (front regulator mount) to the solenoid. There is no way to machine this passageway without leaving a hole in the marker body. So they plug it when they are done.
