Beef with B/S/T section

I understand there are minimum rep/point/day/post requirements to post in the B/S/T section. My beef isn't with that, those restrictions are in place for good reason. My problem with the B/S/T section is that there are sub-sections under the B/S/T umbrella that shouldn't have restrictions.

From a little clicking around it appears that the entire B/S/T section, including all the sub-sections fall under the same posting restrictions. I feel that there are some sub-sections that shouldn't have these restrictions in place, or these sub-sections should be moved elsewhere.

Examples:
Appraisals
Online Discount codes
Found Sales & Specials
And possibly Pay it Forward & Ebay Auctions

I for one cannot create a new thread, nor relpy to a post in any of these sub-sections of the forum. Thanks for looking into this. :thumbs up:

I will adjust them for you. makes sense and is a legitimate complaint!!

however the appraisal section is still going to be restricted, as it CAN be construed as a BST sectiopn..

"I have XYZ how much can i sell it for?" " I would pay XYZ for that" and thus a sale can be made

Thanks for being open minded on this. I agree with you on the appraisals sideshow, it makes sense with the example you gave. Thanks for looking into the problem.

Just as a follow up on this, these areas are/were new to the OG's and as such we weren't to sure how to handle them. As always we use caution to ensure the safety of those who use the forum.
