Hi i heard that you could reduce the kick of the etek2 without having to install a zick kit,by turning the lpr adjustment screw one turn in,i have done that and have noticed that the gun kicks less..it feels like the ram is moving a little slower but my velocity is the same and also the gun got allot more accurate,it was accurate before but now it is either because it has less kick while it still kicks it just feels alittle softer.also i wanted to know if i have to adjust the dwell higher or lower, would letting the noid stay open longer make the shot harder or softer?

Leave the LPR alone. By turning it in you risk damage to the solenoid.....

Leave the LPR screw flush with the end of the cover, and spend the 40 bucks for a zick kit.

The dwell just determines the air efficiency.

If you want to reduce some of the kick, install ae QEV on the longer hose coming out the back of the noid.

i thought a qev wont fit the etek2 because it wont go in the grip frame?and if i can install a qev will that allow the gun to cycle faster?if i were to upgrade to an uncapped virtue board?also how does turning the lpr screw in damage the solonoid? if turning the screw in reduces the cycling pressure in the ram housing..in the manual it says that turning the lpr screw clockwise you decrease the rams operating pressure

also should i leave the dwell on the 13 witch i think is the stock setting

how could turning the lpr in damage the noid? wouldnt i just be lowering the pressure that cycles the ram? and by that just make the gun shoot weaker if anything?

You can adjust your dwell to make it shoot a little smoother and quieter but it's time consuming. There's a thread on here somewhere about how to properly set your dwell

i set my dwell to 11 instead of the stock 13 with the lpr screw flush to the end of the lpr housing and the gun ripped fire pretty nice last night
