Improves performance ( clear shell light reflection is not a factor for the eyes not picking up a ball in chamber )

And they do look cool....BUT if you have a smoke or clear loader, and playing at night, they GLOW...lol

there are times that reflection of the stock BBSS on clear shelled paint ( especially if in a smoke or clear hopper ) will result in the BBSS NOT detecting a ball, thus will not fire ( and once it does you'll get the error on your boards eye icon that looks like a [ only turned on its bottom instead of the { symbol

ie {*} eyes on ball detected
but after a BBSS error it would reset to

and you would need to turn off board to reset

Eyes will work on all Egos that take the BBSS ( since the same BBSS part replaces all years )

green laser eyes came with my F8, I wouldnt of bought them personally. I thought it would constantly be glowing but mine blink. I read somewhere else it is to conserve battery power, which makes sense. I guess it will help to find out if they are blocked by paint when trouble shooting in the future but a shot of duster always takes care of it anyway.

Does anyone elses eyes not blink and glow constantly?

Your the first person I've ever heard say that. That sounds more like an eye logic problem as the visible beam doesn't really matter as long as its broken. The only way you wont get it to break the beam is if you had clear shelled clear fill paint. Which you only MIGHT have happen with some of the UV paint. The only performance increase I've heard is the better battery life and you can instantly tell if your getting power to your eyes which makes troubleshooting easier.
