Hey guys I was just wondering what kind of cleats you use? Normally I run magnum boots for my 26 hour scenario games but I've been tempted to try and wear cleats the entire game so was just wondering what you guys wore. Thanks.

Nike Tigershark hightop/mid foodball cleats.
Football are more aggessive then paintball cleats, when you go up hill or down hill on really muddy terrain with paintball cleats they don't have enough cleat to keep you from loosing your footing.

Jin, I too ware Magnium boots. Though I do have a pair of UnderArmour cleats. They are around the mid-top football style. They are pretty comfortable. Good luck with your decission.

I use Nike soccer cleats. Just make sure that they're not metal spikes and you're good. I like the cleat patterns that go in different directions too so there's less slipping in any one way.
I wear Magnum boots too but have been looking for true high top cleats. I've found mid-high but I want the added ankle support of the high tops.

Yeah I like the Magnum boots. I mean they're really light for boots but I've seen a few teammates wear cleats for 26 hour games and I figured why not give it a try since I'm sure they're lighter than my Magnums although they don't have all the support. Yeah I checked out some of the mid cleats. I'm thinking about maybe trying out the Nike Land Sharks.

Super cool, but $130 is a but stiff for sight unseen. Is anyone using the Nikes?

I picked up a pair of Nike Landshark 2 mid football cleats, and so far they've taken the beating I've given them with style. Mud, rain, you name it. Got them on sale so they were fairly affordable too, 40-50 range.
Edit: Threw in the price range for kicks.

I just use Adidas football cleats for playing sup-air.
Decent boots are a must when playing in the majority of Australian bush. I have the same boots they issue our Army boys. Redback Terra's:

Plenty of support, and comfy during long scenarios once they're broken in.
I wore boots, wore cleats. I actually prefer just plain ol' sneakers.... sliding with cleats can turn out not too good

Good point to bring up Sideshow if your trying to slide you dont want your feet to stick when the rest of you isnt. I just need something with good ankle support, I might go with what Invictus said and use some Magnum boots.

I wear Adidas Cleats They are the best in my opinion,I have been wearing them since I was a kid for all kinds of sports.
For paintball I wear several different cleats depending on the ground surface.
Turf/Hard pack= Adidas Turf Hog Mid
Soft/wet pack = Adidas Scorch Destroy MD Mid
look at your local sporting goods store and you can usually find cleats on sale.
The best that I have found are Football or baseball as they have a better cleat pattern than soccer and others.
I Wear red underarmor cleats

I wear Addidas football/soccer shoes and for bushball stuff I wear what Hedshotz does. The Aussie ADF footwear boot. Thou I don't really rate the Redback boot but I am very keen on the Altma exo speed tan boot.

I run just regular sneakers, but throw on some heavy duty ankle supports.
If you any of you guys were at the Midwest M&G last year, you might remember that i made my own makeshift nakle support out of duct tape! lol
I wear Nike landshark Mids and ankle supports. Used to wear combat boots but they became to heavy(Figured that out my first big game, West Point) I like these cleats because I had some that lasted 3 football seasons before they became destroyed. Never seen other cleats like that. lol

Tanel 360.. yeah with tread grip 360 degrees. if you can find them.. try ebay.. you wont be disappointed. they just arent so popular, but they are the ticket.and they will outlast just about anything.. but then again, shoes is always a personal choice. what you feel comfortable with, everyone's feet are different..
I wear flip flops!
Yep, I played in flip flops, during a night game too....lol

Alright, so in my football days I definitley preferred the rubber/composite cleats compared to the replaceable ones designed more for speed positions like running back or QB. But this was on grass. What would you guys recommend for my desert arenas? (i.e. gravel beds, hard pack dirt, rocks big and small?). My buddy wears Adidas, I wear tactical boots, but I'm all for lighter as long as I don't roll an ankle.

Magnum boots are good. I like the response gear boots at big 5 sports. Lite, comfy, and you can usually get them on sale for under $30. If there good for police, paramedics, and firemen, you can't go wrong. Plus they have a zipper on the side. A little camp dry and there water proof.
