Ego 8 O-Ring Issue

Hey guys I wanted to ask a quick question about an o-ring issue I've been having on my ego 8. So on the Rammer Cap there is an o-ring on the outside of it right behind the threads. For some reason every time after I play with the go when I remove the rammer cap to clean and lube the rammer the o-ring on the rammer clip has a slight tear in it. It's not like the o-ring is shreaded by there's like a sliver of it that is torn off slightly whenever I remove the rammer cap. I usually end up replacing the o-ring but it seems like every time I play and I go to clean the gun the o-ring is torn again. Kind of annoying since my etek does not have those issues at all but my ego does. Any advice or explanations for the issue would be great. Thanks guys.

My first guess is your using the wrong size o-ring. try going to the next size down perhaps. Without seeing it this is just my guess

you might have a bent thread right in front of the oring. It might be catching and tearing it.
