Well I bought one from ANS Paintball, I like the fact that it is like a APE/Rampage Board: Responce, 3 Shot Burst, and Full Auto - with no 3-4 shots before going into mode.
I will let everyone know later how it works out.

Why would people "upgrade" their ego board from an LCD screen to LED lights? I don't get it.

Because you have more choices: I like responce mode, or three round, I learned from having a APE/Rampage board in my A5. (9 modes to choose from)
By the time you shoot 3-4 shots, people are ducking for cover, with instant 3-shots with burst or fast 1 shot on pull & 1 shot on release (responce) people like me with slow fingers can compete.
Also I have bad knees and don't move to good.
For me having had: Ion's, E-grip APE A5's, I am use to LED lights, Once you have your setting in, you don't have to change again anyway.
This board does have sound also.
It's not the setup, it's the performance.
i have always been very happy with all the PE boards im not sure if i would upgrade unless we have a board sponsor

I agree. I have not found any reason to change the stock board since most fields don't allow full auto anyway. Ramping is usually good enough if your fingers can't walk that well.

Do you play where they don't allow full auto but they do allow ramping?
Yes, I did buy the board but I think I will hold off on installing until I have played more with it.
Thanks for your imput!

Yeah for airball they don't care much about ramping because tourneys allow it. Woodsball is usually more strict about any modes but semi.

Well I installed the 7th Element Board, WOW! So easy to program, and 9 modes (I would not go back to the Eclipse board, 2 modes).
This is like having the APE/Rampage board.
Semi
Ramp
Responce-shot on pull & release
Full Auto
3 Round burst
and several in between modes.
Nice to have instant fire power without shooting shots before going into mode.
Takes less then 10 seconds to change from mode to mode.
I love this board!
Has two switch's inside grip, one locks & unlocks mode settings, one locks and unlocks 15bps
Adjustable from 1-22bps
If you are a woodsball player and or a speedball player this board has a very adjustable board for your style of play. For around $70.00 this is a great deal.
Also this gets ride of that optical trigger switch (that will make that ticking noise and makes it harder to dial in.)
Once you have your settings in and you know how to change settings you will not miss the LCD screen.
All of the fields I play at in the Northwest allow all modes: Full, 3-Round, Response, Semi, Ramp - as long as you shoot under 15bps.
