I just got Dye's up grade for the Rotor, and haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I did have a couple of jams the first time I used my Rotor, so I figured better safe than sorry.
Has anyone else gotten it and tried it yet?
Did you have a jam prior to installing it?
Have you noticed any difference with it installed?
Just let me know, I'll try to post up here when I get a chance with what I notice when I try mine.
Thanks.
WHat upgrade? Does it make it feed faster?

Its a new set of paddles. Its supposed to help with unjamming....
Im going to call them and talk to them someday, but Ive only had one jam in mine and that was with a drop test....

When mine occured, I was using older paint. I don't know if that might have had anything to do with it or not. They didn't want to clear real well.
The new spinner paddles have a "shark; like dorsil fin on the back side. To help with the jams.
It was a "drop-in" replacement, so if anyone is worried how-to replace theirs it is quite easy.

Soulcar I think that mine came with the aftermarket one already installed. After you said something about it at LL2 I looked into it and it looks the exact same as the one in my Rotor already.
Now with that being said I havent experienced any jams with mine, knock on wood, and I have shot about 4-5 cases through it.
The upgrade looks like this:

I know the new Rotors come with them because Kanuck's Camo Rotor has it.

I havent had problems with mine but then again I have nothing to compare it to seeing that I never had the original one in there.

I just tried my new feed arm out last weekend and it worked great. I only had one jam (due to paint swelling) and the anti jam trigger worked perfectly. I have had it fail on me before with the older feed arm so as of right now, I'd say it's an improvement

Thanks Mutt for posting up the picture. i couldn't find my copy of it when I posted this thread. Now some people might get to see the new one vs. the old one.

Cool, thanks Havoc for letting us know how yours seems like it's working better.

OK guys, I too tried the new "upgrade" in my Rotor this weekend. I was test shooting my new marker. I went through about 200 rounds in just a few seconds and didn't have one jam. I don't see any difference in the opperation on the hopper it's self while shooting it.
Was the upgrade needed? I don't really know, but, I do have a little bit of piece of mind with it in there after have a couple of jams prior.

I ran the Rotor real hard the other weekend at a big game and had the hopper almost on it's side and it ran flawlessly. I would only have to bring it a bit more up right to feed the paint back into the feed neck. I didn't have one jam all day long. I ran through almost two full cases of paint in one day.

I have a dye rotor and don't see why you need to improve perfection,But that's just me.
