** Pooty's New Soft Tip Ego Bolt **

Features include:


True soft replaceable silicone rubber tip
HUGE bore for more airflow
"Grit cuts" keep your breech looking good
Includes 2 new silicone detents - required for use with this bolt.
Lightest Ego bolt out there (that doesn't hurt performance)
Air port o-rings seal off the transfer of air for maximum efficiency


I haven't had a chance to get home and try it out. That'll be the first thing I do when I get home! Another great product from Pooty!

Definitely NOT pink...lolz. Pooty said efficiency was comparable to a modded Cure 4.

I will be making some pink ones down the road. I really wanted to make the tips pink but I guess we cant dye this stuff...Bummer.

I took mine out in the back yard this evening and shot a hopper through it. I tell ya, it just seems to shoot smoother. When I slid the bolt back and forth by hand it didn't have that "hiccup" when it passes the detents.

That's one of the reasons why we made the bolt like we did and the detent system to match it. Smooth as it gets

What shape insert is in there? It looks like a cone and it looks like a ramp insert?

It comes with a ramped insert that looks like the insert in a cure3+ bolt. More inserts will be made down the road. The csl anno was done by shootnpoo on pbnation.

They are very flexable. So they should last a long time. The bolts tip is soft enough so it wont damage the detents. I do have replacments detents and soft tips.

Pooty, can you use your detents with the PE bolts? and will you sell them seperate?

Pooty is sending me soft detents to test with my GEO 2. Since the GEOs do not have detent cuts in the bolt, the detents get beat up more. I'm wanting to test out if the softer detents will smooth out the cycling action (even more) like they do for the Pooty Ego bolt. I will also keep track of their wear and tear by watching my shot counter to see how long they last as well as taking pics at certain intervals to verify their condition.

Yeah, man. Going forward, I guess I'll have to stay in the shadows-forever hiding my love for Pooty mods. I was just so excited 'cause I'm pretty sure I was the first guy outside of California and Pooty's inner circle of Skunk Works testers to own the new bolt. If my bolt had a serial #, I bet it would be like 0005. I'm not in his inner circle, but he and I bounce around ideas every now and then and he gives me sneak peeks of his Super Secret Squirrel Ego and Geo projects. It makes me feel special...lolz. As a matter of fact, he'll be using my Geo bolt to help him develop his up and coming Bubble Gum bolt for the GEOs.
