08 Ego general value?

I am looking into getting an 08 Ego. Not sure of I will get that first or a TM series marker. Anyways, I know the used value of a TM for when I am looking on Craigslist, but have no idea how much the 08 Ego's go for.

So what is a fair price for a used 08 Ego?

Around $400 is what I have them seen them selling for. A little more for one in really good shape and less for one in not as good shape. As a side note, give the Ego a whirl before you buy a TM series gun. I imagine you will not regret it.

Ditto. I was always a woodsball guy, often milsim, and at the time I shot my first PE gun, I was shooting a T4.

I have shot a Ego10 before. man it was smooth. Only used it playing around the target range at a field. Never used it in a game.

I have a friend that is going to let me use his Ego for the day next weekend when I play. I'm also borrowing a DP G4 & a Mini for a couple of game that day as well.

I'll be using a TM7 at a scenario game early next month. Still trying to find someone local that has a TM15 I can use.

I'll make a decision after I can shoot all of them. Don't think the G4 or Mini are gonna hold a candle to the Ego though.

Also, no matter which way I go now, I plan to get the other (Ego or TM15) later this year once I can save up some more cash. That's why I want to get a Rotor for a hopper so I can use it with both.

I'm thinking I might wait and save up for a newer Ego. From what I have been told, the 08 Ego had big advances compared to the previous years. Did the 09 or 10 have any big leaps to that would make it worth saving for one of those, or would the 08 be good? Still doing research on them as I am new to the higher end speedball guns.

Tufle, if I can make the game I'll being my array of markers you can run one if you wish. Its all fair game for the most part with the exception of one. :)
