the apex is on a furious barrel and it didn't work that well. I tried but it wasn't happening.

Here is my Geo 2.1 with 12 Fibur and Apex 2 with carbon fiber shroud

Big Daddy and Gwalt run the Apex2 on a DW fibur barrel. Great combo as Gwalt took out a tank driver this past weekend thru the window mesh, yes...a tank driver with a paintball. :D

Big D, love the Dbug Paint job. Matching Deadlywind and Apex 2 correct! I remember hearing someone did this. Very nice! Yours?

Yep, it's mine. Although I loved my orignal fern and gunmetal anno on it, I asked dbug to do it over in parker gray and Harley Davidson orange. I originally asked him to do the DW in parker gray as well, but when he saw that the carbon fiber looked as good as it did with the rest of the marker, he left it alone. He did do the aluminum on the threaded end in orange. It was all done in a matte finish as well. This pic just doesn't do it justice. I need to get some good pics done of it.

I took it out last weekend for Operation: Red October and it performed flawlessly all day.

The first time I used it I wasn't able to properly size my paint as I was running late and just shoved the .693 back in there. This time, I bored my paint out at .685 and this thing was shooting bendy lasers.

I knew you had that pic, Cam, bit I couldn't find it. Shane, that is the DW barrel. You can see how dbug painted the barrel ring, but left the barrel itself the original carbon fiber color.

I saw that. But is the gun painted as well? It looks so good but there is no way the two oranges match so good. The Rotor, barrel, apex and Ego were all painted correct?

Yeah they were all painted at the same time by dbug.

I had mine over a year ago and I have had 0 issues. Duracoat is good stuff.

I've had dbug do two markers including quite a few barrels and a rotor. His work is top notch and the finish holds up great. I've run them all hard through the woods and never worried about the finish. It holds up awesome.

I don't know if this picture qualifies for this thread. The reason I say this is because, the Apex 2 isn't on an Ego. It is on my team marker, which is a South Beach Pimp Geo 2.1.

Maybe there should be a new thread the mirrors this thread, but for the Geo. Just a suggestion.

The SBP Geo2.1 is just pure awesome, pictures don't do it justice. I got to see it first hand at the old river game. :)

Hey Soulcar! I'm #8 on the waiting list for a SBP Geo 2.1 if SoBeJoHn can get PE to make another batch. That gat is SICK!

Also, I watched Big Daddy put some massive "plunging fire" on players hiding inside those huts in the POW camp during Goonies using that purdy "Harley Davidson" Ego/Apex combo. Those Apex barrels are the shiznaz!

Wow, that was my first Ego too. I only had it a few short months, but was very hesitant to trade it away.

Loved that color scheme. I had lime green Rotor colors that actually looked pretty damn good with the fern/gunmetal.

Okay a few questions.
Who's gun is this? Is that the stock bolt pin? if so why does it look rubberized? And your grip screws, are they painted?

That belongs to Big Daddy I thought it was already stated in this thread as post 8, 9, and 10 but let me reiterate that. The stock pin is probably painted the same orange as the rest of the rest of marker, judging it got painted all at the same time. Grip screws are painted at well, at the same time the rest of it got painted.

The dude at the far right looks to have an apex2 on his barrel but the just hilarity of the crying towel was the reason the picture was taken.
