Is there a good Paintball game?

I love to play games almost as much as I love paintballing. Lately I have been looking for a good paintball game. Sadly I am finding a lot of junk out there. Is there a good paintball game out there at all?

I have a top notch PC, PS3, PSP and a Wii. Can anyone recommend a good game? (I hate to spend $60 on another game that gathers dust). I don't need cutting edge, I just want something that is fun past the first couple plays.

I am also trying my hand at Painball Manager online. Still not sure if its a recommend but its as close to a fantasy paintball league as I can find. and its free if your curious..

The game is a sort of Fantasy Paintball simulator. You start with a young guns team and a small arena and train for world domination.

I must confess I am not really good at it but I enjoy plotting a strategy and watching my games play out.

I had fun with the NPPL 2009 game (or whatever brand they've attached now)
Its fun for paintball crazies, but not a replacement for a good FPS like COD4, Halo, Half-Life etc...

I'll have to watch for a used copy it seems! I also found a couple of Steam mods for paintball but nothing spectacular. I am at work so I can't relay the actual names at teh moment. Still they are free if anyone else is curious. Never much of anyone playing though.

Greg Hastings is fun but the best marker is a Karni. I started up an account in that paintball manager and it seems cool. Good way to waste my time online :)

NPPL 2009 is AWESOME!

I played NPPL for Wii and it was alright. The truth is, a lot of the shooter games are very similar. I picked up the NPPL at Gamestop used for like $19.

Just a quick update. I found a copy of NPPL cheap at Walmart and have put some hours into it. It's definately a good bargain find for those still interested.

I am finding the single player just not a challenge (too much FPS play??). I do agree it was fun to try all the fields out in person. As for multi player, I never seem toi find very many folks on so I have given it up for occasional team LAN gaterings.

I am still playing and enjoying the heck out of Paintball Manager. The game is getting ready to start a new season, so now is a great time to try it out:

The game is getting ready to start a new season, so now is a great time to try it out. I have also discovered a pretty cool Cod4 paintball mod that gets some decent servers. Just use Paintball in your filter with the mods turned on.
