best ego?

what do you guys think the best year of ego is as far as reliability and all that funn stuff?

i think 05 and 06 but 06-07 is the best year for all high ends imo

Best bang for the buck would be an 07 Ego or an SL66.
Best over all? SL8R hands down.

any of the 08 line is the best, with all kinks worked out, best weight ratio, and performance


I have at my disposal, 05's 06's 08's and 09's, hands down the 08. the noid has all the kinks workede out over prev years, the reg is the most efficient, the weight is the lightest. and is accurate as hell. the 09 noid is advanced, but still with bugs.

I vote 08 as well though I have yet to fire a 09. I have owned an 06, 07, and 08. I am assuming the 05 shoots like the 06. Clearly the 08.

lol thanks guys at the local field this weekend the owner had all the ego's there and a couple PL ego's as well and i think the 08 was the best hands down. the 09 was lighter but just a little bit too light for my liking

^Actually the 08 is lighter than the 09.

they both weight 906g, the 08 is balanced diffrently so it feels lighter

I have an 07 and love it very much. Though I have had the chance to shoot Ts 08 and love the trigger set up on it.
