I have heard stories about using rechargable batteries in markers and messing the boards up. I have been timid about the idea after hearing that it could cost me a board. Is this the case? I assume it is because they are putting batteries not designed for them in. What batteries would be safe for my SL and who uses rechargables?
Rechargables just arent good period for items with sensitive boards. but also they just dont have a good mh to handle our markers and loaders
energy paintball make some of the best batteries FOR paintball. yeah they offer a rechargable, but thee are ppl who swear by them.

Does that rechargable energy battery work well for paintball though? I was going to get some rechargable batteries as well but this board thing makes me nervous

No rechargeable is going to have the amperage to correctly actuate your gun's solenoid.
I swear by the Energy Batteries 9V's and AA's for all my stuff. They last fricking forever!

I just use energizers and have not had an issue, but the SL seems to suck em dry like a corner Vegas hooker. I guess I forget to turn it off sometimes, but if there are other options that either last longer or save me money I am for that. That is the only reason I thought about the rechargable ones, but it is not worth the risk or aggrivation to deal with them.
