We had an awesome urban field too at Travis Air Force base, seriously just a residential area, haha. But I think they tore it down :( Such a fun field...

This is the field were I meet everyone for the first time, when their was only a few people in IYAYOAS. This feild is a must play for all paintpall players scenrio and speedball. I have played their twice and can't wait for the next event their. I won't be able to go to the one in Sept. To me the MOUT site is the holly grail for scenrio play. The only time I stopped playing their was for meal/hydration breaks and when they called for the end for the night game. That's what that field will do to you when you play it.

I actually went to this event this weekend. But it was canceled at Blanding, they wound up playing it at First Strike in Newberry. They rescheduled the Blanding event to Feb 12-15th , although I talked to the promoter this weekend and he said they may do it the week before that. I'm sure they will come out with more info soon because a lot of people did not show this weekend because they were looking foward to Blanding as was I. They transferred all of those people's reg fees to the game in Feb and told us we would get a discount, so we will see. Still too far out for me to tell if I can go to that one or not.

No it is not a paintball field. It's a military installation that is set up for MOUT training. It is not open to the general public. Several years ago it use to be open to the general public for large scenario paintball and airsoft events. Right now it is currently closed to the general public. Their is no word of it being reopened to events or any future events at this time.
