Has anyone here ever had their gun anno'ed?

I am thinking about getting my Geo2 anno'ed. Does anyone know of a really good company to get it done? I was thinking about Kohn, but there was no information on their site about anno'ing - just laser engraving.

Also, does reanno'ing a gun negatively affect performance? My key concerns are barrel and regulator piston bores.

Thanks for your time.

What parts are you thinking of getting annod?

If you're only getting like the barrel and non-essential parts done, no problems at all to expect.

I don't recommend getting the body anno'd myself because it CAN (not saying it will) change the internal tolerances of the parts.

Also, annoing does void your warranty technically...but if the anno isn't a potential cause of an issue, generally it doesn't hurt.

Talk to Khaos. He has had a some of his markers annod and has done some annoing himself

I would be anno'ing the whole gun. I think the risk would be minimal since the only moving part that comes into contact with the body would be the bolt tip when it seals the breech.

However, the inside wall of the regulator where the piston seals would be of concern to me.

I'm not worried about voiding the warranty since I tech my own guns.

Thanks. I'll text him.

There is always a chance that it might screw up the tolerances but as long as you use a professional shop the chance is small. The stripping process will remove a very thin layer but annodizing it will add a thin layer back. Try this place http://arnoldmetalfinishing.com/anodizing.html they do alot of work for Bob Long and the owner has been annodizing paintball markers since the 90"s.

I'd honestly skip the Anno'ing. Wait and look at some of the duracoated Ego's at Knox. I think you'll like them better and I know a guy who does great work.... just saying. :D

Don't be affraid to anno the marker at all.
I've heard good things about CSPAintball/Lasermygun's work.
I'm going to be having some parts done in the very near future, just gotta get it funded.

As Dbugs works is da bomb ..http://www.lasermygun.com/ is also great if you have to have it anno. They are local for me and I have seen there work.. top notch. but Dbugs durcoat is also another option..As he can do colors that anno cant match.
