Getting in way of bolt

I'm just curious if it is bad when your playing and your hand or something gets in the way of the bolt making it not fire while it's trying to? This recently happened to me and I'm just making sure. Thanks

It wont harm the marker but if its a frequent occurrence I'd find a new way to hold your marker.

I don't hold my marker like that at all times lol. It happened a couple times last time I played. Not sure how my hand got there, but it did
