What lube would you guys recommend for the Ego's? I have our pro-shop brand marker oil and Pure Lube at the house. Both of these work well on my A-5's but I didn't know about the Ego. Should I be using something else?

I recommend using regular PE Oil for the bolt and the rammer and Dow33 for your LPR and HPR regulators.

on the rammer and bolt (very very light amount)

The vaseline or dow33 is used on the lpr and hpr regulator piston o-rings

marker / eclipse oil ( also known as RC Car shock oil) on 99% of the parts....errr o-rings, using a q-tip to apply

eclipse grease or vaseline on the LPR and inline reg pistons, thats it.

dont use anything else, and DO NOT drop oil in ASA

OK...good to know.

Luckily I haven't done anything except put a small amount on the bolt. I guess I'll need to get some better lube!

I thought you were suppose to lightly oil the bolt's o rings?

put a drop on the indent, thats about it, I havent oiled mine yet, since its open bolt, I fear getting crap in and gummed up, so I leave it alone

I find when I oil my bolt, I get oil in my barrel and as you know it causes wingers untill it blows out.

That's why if you do oil the o rings on the bolt you are suppose to do it very lightly. It's suppose to reduce the friction and breach wear.

I noticed with the new Geo evrything has grease on it after taking it apart, yet PE only gives you oil with it.

the grease can be bought, its reccommended for certain parts but oil will suffice.

Get vaseline though
