View Full Version : 2011 Planet Eclipse Combat Gear Bag in Digi Ecam
I received my order from Planet Eclipse today. I received the Digi Ecam compact gear bag and PE Marker bag.
Both are super sexy and built with the quality we expect from Planet Eclipse.
The marker bag has a place for barrels and inserts. The compact gear bag has tons of zippered pocket and the lining appears to be water resistance which will make it very easy to clean up if paint fill get in it. It comes with wheels and a handle or a zippered pocket on the bottom holding straps to wear it like a backpack:yes nod:
The bag has a top section that has a different lining for clothes and the bag will zip in half in needed..

Awe man. That looks great. It's about time someone did a decent review with some good pictures. Not many places on the net that have good detailed pics of everything.
I think after seeing this, it is time to get rid of my 2007 Eclipse gear bag (that is still in great condition by the way) and upgrade to one of these new ones.

So did you buy them separate or are they a set? I like that setup too.
After seeing pictures and heading to the doctors to find out whats wrong I think that bag is needed. I know I have enough gear for it. :)

I seen one up close not too long ago, it looked awesome but the guy was about ready to leave and I didnt want the guy to have to unpack all of his stuff just to show me so I'm glad you did this review dbug!
I added a couple more pics of the backpack straps and of the embroidery on the top of the bag.. Super sexy..
@ Mongo- I will switch out my gear bags sometime today and post up some pics for you.
@ Melonhead- The marker case was purchased separate. My 08 didn't come with the marker case so this will be perfect for it and takes up less room than the hard case. I will be buying another one because my wife wants to use it for a purse when she goes with me to our events.
I would recommend this bag and the digi ecam is just sexy.
I may have to get a marker bag...... Damn.. :D

That's what I'm thinking. I'm gonna need to make a spreadsheet with everything on it that I want and add up the totals to see what I am wanting to spend. My wife will probably hate me.
Just spend it!!! If you add it up, you'll never buy a third of what you want... :D

Well I guess since you don't approve and probably wouldn't want to hold hands walking through the staging area if I was wearing it, I guess I just won't buy it beeyatch. :rofl:

I transfered over my gear bags. My original bag was the full size PE bag that is 4 or 5 years old.
I was able to get these items in the compact gear bag;
08 Ego
2 Deadly winds barrels
Freak kit with case
vforce mask
cleats
PE NXE Pod pack
2 rotors
1 pinokio
2 ninja tanks
2 spare dye lock lids
2 spare lenses for goggles
2 pairs of gloves
This frees up my PE backpack for my tech mat, spare batteries, tools, etc.. plus a spare marker.
