I just got to use my new Furious Lotus Barrel in a few games for the first time last weekend so here's a review. For those that don't know, Furious is a new barrel company.
The Lotus is their first barrel and comes in either 14" or 16" 2-piece lengths and bore sizes of .689 or .693
I recieved my 14" .689 Lotus in 3 days after payment was sent which is lightning fast. I ordered through nocopaintball.com which is one of the only places to order this barrel right now. The Furious showed up in 2 plastic containers obviously designed for them and a couple Furious stickers (now on my Rotor). I put the barrel together and looked through it, noticing that there was almost NO visible break in the mirror finish between the two pieces.
To test, I put about half a hopper through my stock Etek barrel at a tree 75' away. I got an ok grouping of about 9"-12" in diameter. Switching to the Furious, I saw my group drop to about 4"-7" average. My shots were placing much more consistantly with each other and the grouping was only made larger by a couple stray shots. I turned my ramping on and fired a hopper off at 15bps and got NO breaks. During my team practice that weekend, I was shooting straighter than ever and again had ZERO ball breaks. Overall, I'm VERY impressed with this barrel especially when you consider I paid $65 for it. I would say it easily keeps up with more expensive barrels like Dye ULs or even some kits.
