Hey, new to the forum.

I bought an 08 Ego last year used and it was shooting amazing so I really didn't do any serious teching of the marker besides some lube here and there. Now since I'm not playing as much because its winter I want to know how to tear this thing down so I can clean everything. I just don't want to screw something up or take something off that I shouldn't. I also wanna know how to tear it down just in case it ever goes down on the field, I'll know what to do with it instead of looking blankly.

So can anyone help with some basic tear down for an 08? What I should take off and make sure is lubed, something I should lube more often than not, or anything of the sort?

Thanks

If you don't have a manual, check this (http://files.planeteclipseb2b.com/ego/EGO8-MANUAL-EN.pdf) out.

The manual is your best friend for learning the gun, its easy to follow and very detailed. Big D already put up a link. Roll through that and if you have questions after we'll be glad to further help :D

we got all the manuals here on the PEOG, go to the tech section and download what you need

Your best bet is to download & print it out, then you can put it in a binder, that way you can put it in your gear bag, and take it with you. You'll have it on and off the field.

Cool. I'll keep you posted if I run into any problems doing this.

However, being that this is my first high end gun I don't understand being able to change the settings on the gun like the dwell and all that. I don't know what they should be for the marker to perform at its max. I know its pretty much different for every marker so I don't even know where to begin.

Usualy if you set it at 5.5 to 6 on the dwell you should be ok.

For your dwell you should look in tech help: tuning your Ego by fish its pretty good info but will take a little bit of time.

stock dwell 12.5

and that ( the prev post ) is WAY too low the 5-6 number on your dwell.
