First time out with my 05

Yesterday I was able to bring my 05 out on the playing field. After a week of sitting around the apartment just twiddling the trigger and "stalking" around each corner, I was finally able to see what she would do on the field.

For those of you that don't know, I have only shot Tippmanns....and now I am kicking myself for depriving myself for too long.

After the first game where I got out 3 of the 5 attackers I was grinning from ear to ear the whole day! Even with the slight drizzle of rain we had, the gun performed flawlessly.

I still have some learning to do with it, but all in all, I am super happy. I will be posting some newb questions I am sure, but I am proud of my $190 gun!

I am afraid that I may never again use my trusty A-5's...I have felt the pull of the DarkSide and I'm loving it!

Welcome to the darkside. Personally, I love the feel of '05's. My friend picked up one, and honestly, plays with it MORE than his '08!!! $190 is a pretty sweet deal too. Nice!

Not yet...the grin is still there.

This was soooo much smoother and easier to shoot than the A5.

My teammates were all in fear of the amount of paint I was able to pour forth! I gotta get more used to it because I just flew through paint! It was too easy!

i just pic up my first 05 ego and i know what u mean about the grin! lol
picked it up for $200, has a new tadoa board,evil reg,hybrid grips, blue laser eyes and two barrels!

Sweet looking marker!! You'll have to tgell me how that board works for you. I just got mine back from Virtue. This weekend will be the first time I actully get to play with it. Congrats man

so far so good it works awsome, i perfer the actual read out than just the led lights but it will do once i get the codes down pat! lol

i was going thru and setting the dwell and fire mode on it lastnight getting it ready for this sunday, the previous owner had the dwell set on 12! lol using why to much air! its back on 9 now and i just put the fire mode on auto response which is setting 8!

He may have had the dwell that high to smooth out the shot.
