Like the title says, I can't start a thread in the appraisal section. Is it simply because I don't have a high enough post count or something completely different? Thanks for any help!

Yeah, it's a part of the BST section so the following applies:

The use of the B/S/T section is a privilege thats earned. As such, this forum makes use of set of requirements that must be met before individual members can post in this section. To gain access you must meet the following requirements * (*Moderators, Super Moderators, Administrators, MVP's, and Supporting Members are exempt from these requirements.):

50 Rep Points
50 Posts
30 Days on the Forum
Rep is gained by making good posts, or creating what other members may consider as good threads. Those caught abusing this system will be banned. As always, spamming to increase post count will not be tolerated. Useless posts to increase count will result in a ban from the B/S/T.

30 days on the forum is defined as, 30 days from your initial sign up date on this forum.

If you became a Supporting Member, then you would receive instant access and full benefits of the BST.

Me as well I have been signed up to PEOG since Oct 09 one month that will be a year isn't that more than 30 day since I signed up. So shouldn't my status be changed?
I am not a big poster, not on amy forum. I have been on Spec Ops forum since 2006 and have less than 200 posts.
Well no matter I just wanted to comment on Dales Ego 7 he is wanting to sell. I would love to have it but can't post in the BST forum. I don't like to bother my pals by calling them on the phone espically on the weekends or during there time to relax. My pals work too hard for me to interupt there off time to discuss business.
Love this forum lots of great members. I want to be an ego user too.

Unfortunately Sir Rod you haven't reached the minimum forum requirement to be able to post in that section. The requirements are in place to help protect our membership.

Actually your rep. points are about 400. Approx. 100 points to 1 rep. Power. I will address this for you when I get in front of my PC. ;)
