I have just procured what will more than likely be the first of many more guns to come!

I have just picked up an 05 Ego for right under $200. It should be shipped out tomorrow and then arrive into my anxious arms sometime early next week.

Here's what the gun has on it so far:

2005 EGO
-Black
-Silver Star Trigger
-CP regulator
-Cure 2 Bolt
-Quick Release Clamping Feedneck
-2006 O.O.P.S. ASA
-Stock board, barrel

Gun shoots well, and looks to be well taken care of. I think I got a pretty decent deal on it.

I chose an 05 simply from an economical standpoint. I thought that as I have never owned an Electro, that I didn't want to sink a ton of money into it and then not like it, so I found the deal and went for it. I'm sure, knowing me, that if I end up liking it, then I'll just buy more and more!

Thanks guys! Is it wrong that I'm a little giddy waiting for it to come in?

I already have the grips designed that I want!

What else should I look into getting?

Id look into a zick kit or wait until the zick kit2 comes out. (thats word on the streets there is another one coming out).

But ego's are pretty sick when they come out of the box. Mods really arnt needed like they are on the tippmann guns to get them rocking. It sounds like your ego will be coming with a few ups too which is sweet!

No it's about normal. :D

It's also quite normal to giggle like a 16 year old schoolgirl when you fire it off for the first time. :thumbs up:

Zick stands for zero-kick.

It's a replacement rammer and end cap kit that reduces the kick of the Ego/Etek.

So that when you're laying ropes you get less marker climb. :D
