Hey guys,
So, I was having problems with consistency and velocity, so I completely tore down the gun and replaced o-rings in the HPR, LPR, and rammer. This is on a star-framed Etek 2. Also, the diaphram was turned on its side when I inspected that and I straightened that out. I put some paint through the marker and velocity and consistency were back. :D

Now, however, I have the tiniest of leaks that I can only hear from the feedneck. When I point the gun with the barrel downward toward the floor...no leak. When I hold it horizontal...minor leak. When I hold it with the barrel toward the ceiling...slightly louder leak. I've swapped out my zick for the stock rammer and still there. I changed my cure 2 with the stock bolt and still there. I've moved the bolt while under pressure and it has no noticeable effect. I took off the grips and no air coming from there. I can't even feel the air through the feedneck or barrel breach, but I can only hear it through the feedneck.

Anything I haven't tried that you'd suggest? I don't know if this will have much of a negative effect on the marker, but I know it's not supposed to be this way, which is driving me crazy.:runaway:

check to be sure your noid isnt slightly cockeyed, and hoses are straight

I'll check that. Are you thinking that maybe one of the hoses isn't connected properly. If that's the case, would I be able to hear it through the feedneck. I took off the grip frames and I couldn't hear the leak coming from that area.

I think I may have found the problem. The little ring at the end of the rammer housing has some scratches and small dents/chips. This is where the valve seats and I think it may be the cause of my small leak. I'm going to change the 6 o-rings on the housing and if there's still a leak, it has to be that.

If it is, do you think it would be ok to take some fine-grit sandpaper and try and smoothen it out? I really don't want to have to buy a new housing if I don't have to.

Sanding will probably make it worse, as you'll take the part out of tolerances.
