Is it just me or is the 08-09 geo getting more $ than the 09 ego?

Starting to look for a used 08-09 something and just seems like the geo's I have found are all 750-800 asking, and the 09 ego is around 600+.

I never noticed before but what month do the 11s come out jan? Do you think the 09 will drop much more when they do?

the 09s are going cheap, but do your homework on them b/c you may not like what you find out about them (which may speak to why you're seeing those prices).

and as for Geo's, i have found them regularly for under $700 (the cheapest so far was for $625).

I am a month or two from serious looking, just doing homework on whats out in the market.

I know the 09 had the noid issue that required the plank kit, I also have heard alot of people say they don't care for the frame/fit in hand. Not aware of any other issue but I have been looking into the geo the most. I will dive into the 08 and 09 ego next.

Not that a qev is a huge maint. issue but I like the fact that the 09 doesn't have any, one less thing.

I see the noid barb problem they had and sent the repair kit for, so if I look at an 09 it needs a plank kit and barbs installed by prev. owner.

The Ego 09's NEW are less then the 09 Geo's due to the fact there are Ego 10's out, whereas they did not release a Geo for 2010, thus they retain a higher value.

Same goes for the Etek series, it came out every other year, so they retained a higher value

The Ego 11's should be out around World Cup 2010. Not sure what the date is but I'd guess late October - November of next year :D

I don't think im old but in paintball years 31 is like 50. A few of our main guys on my team are the same age as you guys and play just as hard as our young guys.
